Help your child by not sending them away...

Copper Canyon is an unsuitable environment for anyone. If you have a daughter with attitude problems, try talking to her and if she needs space give her space. Because when you send your child to CCA, I do not think parents understand the reprocussions of such a traumatic experience. Being escorted I was literally taken out of my bed, the escort threw me on the ground hit my face into the floor and when I was crying and screaming for him to get off me and told me he made my nose bleed, he called me a "fucking liar." I went to the airport with blood all over my face and hair, he threw a tissue at me and told me to clean myself up. I started having panic attacks and trust me they do not give a crap about how you feel. They treat you like a criminal! These are the people you want to be "taking care" of your children? It is completely appalling, when I arrived at CCA everyone had fake smiles on. My fist day I was there I was screamed at by a staff member Janet, for lying about having a necklace and that I was hiding it from her. I did not have a necklace. I was on extreme emotional edge. These people treat you like you are nothing, you are not a person you are a level! All the level ones do this, level twos do this. You are not a human being. They want to keep you there longer because it is so expensive and they make more money. They pin the girls against eachother. You get "brownie points" for telling on other girls. Treatment team is probably the most nerve racking thing in the wolrd. I believe this school was buildt to break people, it is completely disgusting. If you actually care about your daughter you will send her to a normal therapist and not some abusive school. And how can unconfidential therapy ever work? You feel as if you have no security at this place! When I was attending they had work hours and there was absolutely zero positive reinforcement. I understand some rules have changed over the years, but heres the problem the same sadistic people still work there. One time we were standing in line and there was a swarm of bees so there was atleast two girls in the line allergic to bees so they moved away, they all recieved work hours and the rest of us were forced to stand in line with the bees. These are the kind of people you want watching over your children? Honestly, this school is a lie and overall it's unaafective!
